EVENTS:
Charity Golf Tournament: Held each year the third Wednesday of May at the Bavarian Hills Golf Course and the St. Marys Country Club in St. Marys, Pennsylvania. Plan to participate and enjoy a day of fellowship and fun.
Women's Health Program: Each year in October or November the Women's Health Team sponsors an event with the purpose of raising the awareness of women's health issues. Past events have included Mystery Dinners and the Pennsylvania Celebrities Gala and Cookbook. To purchase a copy of the cookbook for $8.50 please contact Gwen Auman at (814) 788-8585.
SCHOLARSHIPS:
Kathryn Kilhoffer Walsh: This scholarship was begun in memory of Kathryn Kilhoffer Walsh and her dedication to the nursing profession. Students residing in the Ridgway Area School District and attending either Ridgway Area High School or Elk County Catholic High School and plan to major in Nursing are eligible to receive the $500.00 scholarship.
Elk County Diabetes: In 1983 the Elk County Diabetes Group began a scholarship program to be used for students planning to major in diabetic education or nursing. In 2002 the Diabetes Group turned the administration of the scholarship over to the Foundation. This scholarship is available to students in Elk County High Schools who will be pursuing a career in diabetic education or nursing.
