Family Medicine Physician
Elk Regional Health System is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join our dynamic team of physicians. This is an opportunity to practice in a somewhat rural area of Pennsylvania and still be affiliated with UPMC Hamot, a tertiary care center in Erie, Pa.
Details of the position include:
- 36 hours scheduled in office per week
- Call 1:3
- Hospital patients average between 6 and 8 per day
- Need to be comfortable seeing newborns in nursery as well as outpatients
- Hospitalists available to cover as well
- Loan forgiveness available

Pulmonologist / Critical Care Specialist
Elk Regional Health System is seeking a Pulmonologist / Critical Care Specialist to join our dynamic team of physicians. This is an opportunity to practice in a somewhat rural area of Pennsylvania and still be affiliated with UPMC Hamot, a tertiary care center in Erie, Pa.
Details of the position include:
- Employed position
- Call coverage: 10 days per month to include one weekend
- Responsible for a two-bed off-campus sleep lab
- Sign-on bonus
- Loan repayment program

Hospitalists
Elk Regional Health System is seeking additional Hospitalists to join our dynamic team of hospital-based physicians. This is an opportunity for a Hospitalist to practice in a somewhat rural area of Pennsylvania and still be affiliated with UPMC Hamot, a tertiary care center in Erie, Pa.
Details of the position include:
- 7 on 7 off schedule (schedule is flexible and can be adapted to fit hospitalists needs)
- 12-hour shifts
- 9-bed ICU – vent management skills required
- Hospitalist service also has mid-level staff
- Prefer Internal Medicine physicians but will consider Family Medicine physicians with hospitalist experience
- Average census of hospital is 32 patients
- The Emergency Department volume is currently over 20,000 patients per year
